Elif Hamlacıoğlu Gedik is an experienced finance professional with over 13 years of expertise in corporate finance, project finance, capital markets, and M&A, with a strong focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. She has played a pivotal role in structuring and executing complex financial transactions, including Eurobond issuances, IPOs, and private capital market transactions.

Currently serving as Investor Relations Group Director at Aydem Energy, Elif oversees investor engagement and capital markets activities, ensuring strategic alignment with global financial markets. She has significantly contributed to major transactions, including the IPO and Green Eurobond issuance for Aydem Renewables, the Eurobond issuance for GDZ, and the IPO of ÇATES, demonstrating her expertise in sustainable finance and ESG integration.

Previously, as Corporate Finance Group Manager at Aydem Energy, she played a key role in capital raising, valuation, and financial strategy development.

Prior to Aydem Energy, she worked at KPMG’s Deal Advisory team as an Assistant Manager, specializing in financial due diligence, private capital markets, and M&A transactions across energy, infrastructure, and financial services. She also held key positions in top energy companies such as EWE Turkey Holding and Enerjisa, where she focused on corporate development, M&A, energy trading, and regulatory strategy. She began her career at General Electric, supporting financial planning and analysis across multiple countries in the Power Generation Services division.

She holds a Postgraduate degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Istanbul Technical University.
