Founder & CEO of Aslı Selçuk Advisory, a specialist boutique offering strategic guidance in investor relations, governance, sustainability, financial communication, and corporate reputation. With over 30 years of experience in capital markets and corporate strategy, she helps companies strengthen their investor relations function and leadership alignment to create long-term value.

A former investor relations leader and passionate advocate for the profession, she works with IR and executive teams to elevate the function as a strategic driver of sustainable growth and future readiness.

She has partnered with leading companies across multiple sectors — including Sabancı Holding and group companies and collaborated with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), co-authoring the Director Nomination Toolkit for Companies in Türkiye.

Her advisory work builds on a career within leading Turkish and international institutions. She began at Koç Holding, Türkiye’s leading investment conglomerate and a Fortune Global 500 company, where she developed a multi-industry investor relations perspective spanning automotive, consumer durables, energy, banking, and FMCG retail.

She then joined Ford Otosan, where she established and led an independent investor relations function. Over a decade, she expanded the global investor base, advanced sustainability initiatives, and strengthened governance practices — contributing to one of the strongest long-term share-price performances on Borsa İstanbul and Ford Otosan’s rise as the exchange’s most valuable company.

As the only Chair elected twice to TUYID – the Turkish Investor Relations Society, she led one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated IR communities, advancing best-practice disclosure, launching the TUYID Sustainable Investment Summit, and aligning Türkiye’s IR ecosystem with global standards.

In 2019, she received first-place awards for both “Best Investor Relations Professional” and “Best IR Program” in the Institutional Investor EMEA Executive Team survey, based on votes from investors and analysts.

Before her IR career, she worked at Citibank between 1994 and 2005, holding various roles in Global Transaction Services in Türkiye and Europe.

She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University and an Executive MBA from Koç University. She has completed executive programs in Sustainable Business Strategy at Harvard Business School Online and Circular Economy and Sustainable Business Strategies at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.
