Cihat Takunyaci is the Country Manager and Senior Representative of The Bank of New York Mellon’s Istanbul Representative Office. In addition to the country management responsibility for Turkey and Azerbaijan, he is the relationship manager for Turkey and Azerbaijan within its Treasury Services business in the EMEA region. He also represents BNY Mellon as an individual member at Turkish Corporate Governance Association (TKYD). Educated at Bogazici University with BSc at Mechanical Engineering and Istanbul University for post-graduate certificate program in Business Administration, Cihat has been with BNY Mellon since 1997. Prior to this, he began his career in investment banking and capital markets in various roles, including corporate finance, asset management and M&S in the Turkish market.
